Robin Nicole Lekvold, 33, passed away due to complications related to cancer on Dec. 26, 2016, surrounded by loving friends and family.

Robin was born April 11, 1983, on Mountain Home Air Force Base. Growing up, she moved often but found herself back in Mountain Home, where she met and married her husband of 13 years, Jason Lekvold, and raised their amazing son, Caleb.

Robin could always be found with a smile on her face and would brighten any room she walked in. She and her husband enjoyed traveling around the country for car shows and meeting people from all over the world.

One of her favorite destinations was anywhere along the Oregon Coast. Regardless of weather conditions, she found joy walking along the beach and making sure to hit the local candy shops for fresh saltwater taffy.

When not traveling, she could be found coloring, painting or enjoying her brightly filled garden. Few things were more important to Robin than family and friends, and she loved getting together for holidays, birthdays or just because.

Robin is survived by her beloved husband, Jason; her son, Caleb; her mother and step-father, Brenda and Mike Stoecker; her brother, Chadd (Kelli); her sisters, Jamie (Chet), Traci (Matt), Cassie (Vince), Heather (Jason), Courtni (DJ) and Danielle; along with numerous nieces and nephews and her biological father, Scott Robinson.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2017, at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge, with friends and family from near and far. Everyone in attendance is asked to proudly wear bright colors to commemorate her love of making the world a brighter place.

In lieu of flowers, please plant some flowers in your garden as tribute to Robin's love of brightly colored flowers that will continue to grow.
