Sheffields to mark 50th anniversary

Thomas and Barbara Sheffield of Mountain Home will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Dec. 15.

The couple married during a ceremony Dec. 15th, 1966, in Winnemucca, Nev.

Thomas and Barbara both attended Mountain Home High School and raised their family here. Thomas was a police officer and truck driver, and Barbara served as a contracting officer at the Mountain Home Air Force Base.

Their family includes their children, Katherine Sheffield of Mountain Home and her two daughters, Rachuel and Ashley, and two grandchildren Addilynn and Oliver; Heather Martin and husband, who live in Middleton with their sons, Jacob, Joshua and Gabe; Thomas Sheffield of Morristown, N.J., and his three children, Helen, Anne and Paul; and Victoria Sheffield with her two children, Matthew and Amanda.

Both retired, they now enjoy traveling and spending time with their family, their grand children and great-grandchildren.

Their children wish to congratulate them on 50 years of happiness and wish to thank them for everything they have done for them and that they love them very much.
