Report: real estate market continuing steady recovery

The total number of homes sold in Elmore County continued to rise during the first nine months of this year with buyers continuing to pay significantly less for these residences compared to pre-recession levels.

The sale of 131 homes between July to September meant the county had already exceeded total sales compared to the same time period in 2015 with the median, or middle price, of these homes increasing by approximately $5,500, the Elmore County Board of Realtors reported on Friday.
