Christmas creche slated to begin Thursday

Couples will act out the roles of Mary and Joseph, the parents of Jesus, during the annual live Nativity scene during this year's Christmas creche.

A yearly holiday season event returns to Mountain Home later this week as the local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hosts this year's Christmas creche exhibit.

A non-denominational event, the three-day celebration runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from noon 6 p.m. Saturday at the Mormon stake center off Airbase Road at 790 South Haskett St.
