Traveling team introduces elementary students to STEM

A bus filled with an assortment of science experiments and assorted technology was met with excitement by students at West Elementary School on Oct. 18 during an effort aimed at introducing these youngsters to this field of study.

During the 45-minute presentation on the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math program -- STEM for short -- students were entertained with flying drones, a human sized robot, and presenters performed experiments using dry ice and liquid nitrogen with helium gas.
