Mary Emma Tufte Park, 88 of Mountain Home, passed on Oct. 18, 2016. Mary Mullins was born on Jan. 27, 1928, in Putnam County, Mo., to Jesse and Myrtle Mullins.

At the age of one, her family moved to Grinnell, Iowa. She was the middle child of seven children. She graduated high school from Grinnell, Iowa, and on July 1945 married Curtis Dobbs. To this union were born three daughters.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Dobbs, a veteran of World War II and a housing contractor. He died in an auto accident in 1951.

In 1953, she married Norman Tufte, a farmer in the Gilman, Iowa, area. During their married life, they lived in Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri, later moving to Idaho to be closer to their daughter, Tanna Milburn. Norman passed in 1995.

Mary married Kenneth Park in 1998 and they resided in Twin Falls, where he died in 2000. Also preceding her in death were Mary's parents; her daughters, Kitty Lou and Sandra Kay Dobbs; Mary's sister, Leta Faye Rasmussen; and her brothers, Cleo, James and Samuel Mullins.

Mary felt very fortunate to share her life with her three husbands that were so kind and caring. It was hard to lose them and her two girls. She knew it was a part of life but it did not make it any easier.

She was happy to spend her last two years with her daughter, Tanna, and her favorite son-in-law. She made everyone laugh, even when she knew she was dying.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, in Filer, Idaho. She loved Jesus and her church family. She said she was going home soon, a week before she died.

Instead of flowers, memorial donations in Mary's name may be sent to Peace Lutheran Church, 600 Stevens, P.O. Box 33, Filer, ID 83328.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Tanna (Robert) Milburn of Mountain Home; grandchildren Robert Milburn III of Gooding, Princess Young Linehan (Rick) of Kuna, Angela Young Montgomery of Mililani, Hawaii, Terence Milburn of Mountain Home, Andrea Mellen (Joey) of Baker City, Ore., and Princess C. Young of Arlington, Va.; step-daughters Carolyn (Tim) Graves of Arkansas and their children, Beverly (Brent) Robinson of Idaho and their children; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; her brother, Edwin "Pudge" Mullins of Phoenix, Ariz.; and her sister, Dorothy (James) Hill of Louisville, Ky.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. at the IOOF Filer Cemetery on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016. Afterward, a memorial service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church in Filer, followed by a meal for all in attendance. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
