Absentee voting to begin

In-person absentee voting in Elmore County begins at 9 a.m. Oct. 17 with voters going to the polls to select the nation's next president along with the county's next sheriff and two new state lawmakers.

Absentee voting continues at the Elmore County Courthouse from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Nov. 4, and people must present their photo identification or sign a personal identification affidavit to cast a ballot.
