1930 - 2016

Jerry Richard Hall, a former resident of Mountain Home, Idaho, passed away on Aug. 28, 2016 in Sherwood, Ore. He was born Dec. 29, 1930 in Mountain Home, Idaho.

Jerry graduated from Mountain Home High School and was very active in school with music and playing the drums. He played with various bands throughout the valley as well as many dance halls in several states. He was well known for his lead role in Guys and Dolls at the Boise Little Theater.

Jerry attended BYU and worked at the BYU radio station. He also served in the U.S. Air Force for four years, stationed in California and Georgia. Jerry retired from Consolidated Freight Ways then elected to live in Medford, Ore.

Jerry leaves behind three children, Don Hall and family of Dallas, Texas; Deborah Agee and family of Fuji, Ore.; and Jeri Lynn of Vancouver, Wash. He is also survived by his two sisters, Theressa Bays of Boise, Idaho; and Lorna Guthrie of Phoenix, Ariz.; and brother, David Hall of Nampa, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, George and Estella Hall, along with four brothers, Laurence, Rene, Donald and Ed (Gene).

Internment was held at Willamette National Cemetery with full military honors.
