He played basketball in college, and for the U.S. Air Force. He had a reputation for being a hard worker and having a positive infectious attitude.

Buz loved to reminisce about the adventures he had living in Hope, Idaho, with Dorothy, sailing, boating and fishing on Lake Pend Oreille.

Buz is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and their combined family: Son Jens and his wife, Linda Johnson; step children Peter and Susan Bennett, Steve, Sue, Sheryl and Shelly Colthorp; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.

Buz, Dad, Grandpa, we will love and miss you forever and are comforted knowing you are singing in the Lord's choir and sailing on crystal clear blue waters.
