Clayton "Clay" Comish, 81 of Mountain Home, Idaho, passed away Aug. 23, 2016 at his home. Clay was born in Cove, Utah, on March 17, 1935. He spent most of his growing up years in Payette, Idaho.

His passion in life was baseball. He played baseball mostly with the same teammates from a young age through high school. He spent a lot of years with a favorite friend, Harmon Killebrew.

He has always been very proud that his father never missed a game. He continued playing baseball in college. Clay graduated from BYU in 1957.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Campbell-Comish; his children, Mike Comish, Mark (Christine) Comish, MeChelle (Richard) Bowsher, Mathew Comish, Lila Holgate, Todd (Nola) Campbell, Kyle (Monica) Campbell and Kelly (Barbie) Campbell; and also 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reba and Dwayne Comish; a child, Jeffery Von Campbell; and his great granddaughter, Ally Campbell.

A viewing will be held on Friday Sept. 2, 2016 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Bowman Funeral Parlor, 10254 West Carlton Bay Dr., Garden City, Idaho. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 at the Mountain Home LDS Stake Center, 790 South Haskett St., with a viewing at 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m.
