The proposed budget for the Western Elmore County Recreation District came under fire by local residents during a public hearing Aug. 17.

The proposed $3.1 million budget represents a 30 percent cut in taxes for district resident, board president Art Nelson told the nearly 50 people that were present at the meeting.

    Another WECRD article but nothing about the antics of the Parks and Recreation director and the so called complaints about CHILDREN using softball fields. Way to stay on the fence and not show favoritism.
