Public's help appreciated

Dear editor,

On June 23, I lost my home in a fire. It was hard to believe.

One week later, friends like the Cooks, the Hansens and the Prairie community were planning benefit auction. It was held July 9. The turnout and support was awesome.

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to my family, neighbors, friends and everybody that attended the benefit -- too many names to mention.

A big thanks to all that gave me so much support in my loss.
