Cedar Crest receives award from state health & welfare

The Cedar Crest Assisted Living Facility in Mountain Home recently received a gold award from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare after passing a no-notice inspection. Tami Nichols, the manager of the facility gave the credit for winning the coveted award to all of her employees and the past management team. "Thanks to the vision of Charlene Humpherys, the person who build the facility in the 1980s and turned it into a place we can all be extremely proud of," Nichols said while holding up the award certificate.

Cedar Crest assisted living facility in Mountain Home received a gold medal certificate award from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare following a no-notice inspection of the facility.

The inspection conducted last month was an all-inclusive event that lasted almost two full days and involved four health and welfare department employees, according to Gene Thurston, the assisted living center's financial and business consultant.
