Burn barrel linked to Vera Drive fire

Embers from a burn barrel were linked to a brush fire that ignited five acres of land on the city's south side June 22.

The fire on Southwest Vera Street was reported around 8 a.m. with two dozen firefighters from the Mountain Home Rural Fire District called in to battle the flames.
