The Western Elmore County Recreation District board appointed a new director as discussion continued last week regarding plans to build a skate park in Mountain Home.

During a board meeting June 22, Connie Clark was sworn in to fill the District 3 seat that had remained vacant following the resignation of former board member Mollie Marsh in January.

  • I hope she has a recreational or building/construction background. We don't need directors who have no idea what to do except to give our tax dollars away to associates. 15 years of that is enough.
