Amateur anglers come together during annual fishing day event

Fishermen of all ages gather around the pond at Legacy Park during this year's free fishing day event at Legacy Park. Hosted by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, it's the one time of year where people can fish across the state without a license.

"I think I caught one."

Dallas Steffensen shouted in excitement as her father stood nearby and watched his daughter reel in the line. The youngster watched as the bobber dropped below the water a second time as she felt the tension on the line.
