Sparks from construction tool linked to Frontage Road fire

Bud Corbus and Alan Roberts from the Mountain Home Rural Fire Department walk through a dense cloud of smoke from a brush fire that started on Frontage Road on Monday afternoon.

Construction equipment was linked to a wildfire that threatened a number of buildings in the vicinity of Frontage and Canal roads Monday afternoon.

According to Rick VanMeer from the Mountain Home Fire Department, the fire began near a construction site around 1:30 p.m. as a crew was assembling a metal storage shed.
