Highway chase leads to arrest

A man remains in custody at the Elmore County Jail following a high-speed chase along Highway 20 on June 7.

The incident began after a county deputy on patrol in Pine stopped a truck pulling a 25-foot travel trailer for failing to maintain lane.

The deputy made contact with the driver, later identified as Anthony Lyle Foster, who noticed the driver's license picture didn't match his identity. The deputy conducted checks with a county dispatcher, who told the deputy that his license was suspended.
