Report: Plaza could boost local economy

A community plaza located in downtown Mountain Home could serve as the catalyst to give the city a needed economic and tourism boost, according to findings released Thursday by the head of an international community development organization.

Roger Brooks met with city and county leaders, school officials and local business owners to present his findings following a visit to Mountain Home earlier in the week.
