Air Force base to host Rangers, F-35 team

F-35s from Hill Air Force Base, Utah, arrived at Mountain Home Air Force Base on Friday.

Mountain Home Air Force Base will play host to some of the U.S. military's most elite forces this month as they conduct combat-related training exercises across southern Idaho.

Members of the U.S. Special Forces arrive here starting next week to begin a series of training exercises near C.J. Strike Dam just days after eight of the Air Force's F-35 Joint Strike Fighters and 160 support airmen deployed to the base to begin a simulated combat deployment.
