Bennett Mountain holds first commencement

Caps go flying into the air in the commons are at Mountain Home Junior High School as Bennett Mountain's Class of 2016 marks the completion of their first step in their future academic endeavors.

Some overcame personal and emotional struggles. Others were working full time to support their families. At least one had survived their fight against cancer.

On Thursday evening, each of them stepped forward to cross the stage to accept their diplomas as graduates from Bennett Mountain High School.
