Commissioners resume reconsideration hearing on contested housing project

A reconsideration hearing over a conditional use permit seeking to build a 53-lot subdivision northwest of Mountain Home continued on Friday afternoon at the county courthouse.

Local businessman Jim Carrie, the prime developer of the subdivision, is seeking relief from a number of conditions the county commissioners placed on him before he can move ahead with the large-scale Blue Sage Subdivision project.
