Local charter high school plans graduation ceremony

Retirement open house set Richard McKenna Charter High School holds an open house in honor of school administrator Larry Slade, who will retire after a 39-year career in education. Slade, who helped create and lead the charter school, served as a teacher and administrator in Mountain Home for many years. The open house runs from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the charter high school, located at 675 South Haskett St., and is open to the public.

Richard McKenna Charter High School will celebrate the graduation of 13 students during a ceremony Saturday morning.

The commencement begins at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Nazarene, 950 North 7th East St.
