Cochran's Auction House marks its grand opening

Cochran's Auction Service held their chamber of commerce ribbon cutting and open house ceremony on Friday with about 20 local leaders, businesspeople and curious on lookers.

Owner Patrick Cochran and his wife, Kris, hosted the ceremony that included a tour of the business and an old-fashioned barbecued hotdog and chips picnic lunch.

While the auction services business opened a few months ago, finding the time to install new doors and windows in the auction barn was been difficult and a time consuming process, the owners said.
