Officials warn: Foreign lottery scam continues targeting Idaho residents

The United States Attorney's Office and U.S. postal inspectors have seen a recent uptick of sweepstakes fraud victims in southern Idaho.

In this latest round of scams, victims lost a total of more then $70,000, according to Becky Early, a spokesperson with the U.S. Attorney's Office in Boise.
