E.R. "Ed" Frachiseur Jr., 72, passed away after a heart attack while traveling in Costa Rica. A graveside inurnment, with military honors, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2016, at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, in Boise. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

He was born Oct. 20, 1943, the only son of Edgar Reese and Pauline Elizabeth Frachiseur of Brownwood, Texas. He was born in Topeka, Kan., and raised in Alhambra, Calif.

He graduated from UCLA School of Law and moved to Buhl, Idaho, to practice. There, he met his beloved wife, Geraldine (Gerry). They were married in 1972 and moved to Mountain Home in 1975.

He was a great man with a Renaissance mind and a generous heart. He used his extensive legal knowledge and talent to help those in need for over forty years. His unique personality, wisdom, and humor, while being painfully missed in life, will stay with us forever.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife and leaves behind his sister, Pauline Elizabeth "Liz" Cardinale; his children Joshua and his wife Nicole, Ann, Jeremy, and Amy; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Eddy, Evey and Corinthia.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
