Mountain Home to celebrate Cinco de Mayo

Members from the Elmore County Hispanic Organization's Folkloric Dancers are scheduled to perform during this year's Cinco de Mayo celebration on May 7 in Carl Miller Park.

The Elmore County Hispanic Organization holds its annual Cinco de Mayo fiesta from noon to 4 p.m. May 7 in Carl Miller Park.

"Cinco de Mayo is celebrated by Latinos and non-Latinos across the country," said ECHO representative Irene Castillo. "It's a celebration of freedom, and it acknowledges the beauty of the Latino culture."
