High-speed chase leads to arrest

A high-speed chase through Elmore and Owyhee counties led to the arrest of a Mountain Home man Tuesday afternoon.

Kyle King, 21, remains in custody at the Elmore County Jail on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, felony eluding, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, resisting arrest or obstructing law enforcement officers and felony possession of a controlled substance.

King is accused of leading Mountain Home police and Elmore County deputies on a nearly 30-minute high-speed chase at speeds of up to 120 miles per hour. More information will appear in the May 4 edition of the Mountain Home News.
