Lady Tigers face shutouts against Kuna and Caldwell

Errors cost the Lady Tigers dearly on the field as they fell to Kuna and Caldwell during a pair of shutouts last week.

Mountain Home 0, Kuna 10

Paris Mederios had a successful evening, but six errors plagued the Lady Tigers as they lost to the Lady Kavemen after six innings of play.

Consistent hitting by Kuna gave them two runs in the bottom of the first with additional runs added in four more innings as the Lady Kavemen sweep the game.

Jaden Lancaster picked up Mountain Home's sole strikeout. Ryan Floyd led the team on the mound with seven first-strike pitches during three innings of play with Ashten Harrigan picking up four additional first-strike pitches after two innings.

Mountain Home 0, Caldwell 10

The Mountain Home Tigers were only able to muster one hit with seven errors costing them once again as they fell to the Lady Cougars.

Caldwell scored twice in the first inning while adding three more runs in the second as they held off the Lady Tigers. Four additional runs extended Lady Cougars' lead in the fifth to cap off the game.

Vanessa Sable scored Mountain Home's sole run off a walk. On defense, Floyd and Harrigan each earned strikeouts against Caldwell. Harrigan finished the evening with 12 first-strike pitches during three innings of play with Floyd adding four more during one inning on the mound.

The Lady Tigers continued to deal with a busy schedule that started Friday afternoon during a rematch against Caldwell.

They stayed on the road on Monday as they faced Wood River before hosting Skyview on Tuesday at Memmelaar Field.

On Friday, the Lady Tigers host the Bishop Kelly Lady Knights during a 5 p.m. conference game. They travel to Middleton on Tuesday for a 5 p.m. game against the Lady Vikings.
