Community Canvas effort continues moving forward

Plans to turn a walkway in the city's downtown area into a showcase of local artists continues to gain supporters and the financial help it needs to get started.

The Community Canvas project will transform a nearly 320-foot stretch of alleyway between North Main and North 2nd East streets into an outdoor galley starting this June, said Brenda Raub, who teaches art programs at Mountain Home High School.

  • I think this is a great way to make this area of town look more colorful and less neglected. Something besides gray, drab, and dirty looking walls. Great idea. One way to brighten our town up.
