More political forums set

People in Mountain Home and Glenns Ferry will have opportunities to meet candidates running for political office during a pair of political forums scheduled for this month.

The Mountain Home Senior Center hosts a political candidate forum at 6:30 p.m. April 13. Candidates for state legislative District 23 as well as county commissioner, sheriff and prosecuting attorney were invited to attend.

Meanwhile, candidates running for Elmore County Sheriff will hold a forum from 7 to 9 p.m. April 18 at the Glenns Ferry Veterans Hall. The event is open to the public. For more information, contact Dale Smith at 366-2710 or 590-4171 or via e-mail at vsmith@rtci.net.
