Public comments sought on Gateway West project

The Gateway West project involves running additional electrical transmission lines through Wyoming and Idaho to meet future electrical power demands. The map shown here shows where those proposed power lines would run through Elmore County. The Bureau of Land Management will accept public input starting next month on an updated environmental impact plan regarding the project.
