Vehicle fire kills Nampa man

Mountain Home firefighters battle smoke and flames as they extinguish a fire that engulfed a motor home Friday morning on the interstate. A Nampa man was trapped inside the vehicle and killed after a fire ignited in the engine compartment.

A Nampa man died in a fire that destroyed a motor home on the interstate east of Mountain Home on Friday.

Amado Martinez Perez, 68, was traveling back to Nampa after a trip to Montana when he stopped near milepost 96 after his vehicle stalled.
