Yearly banquet raises $77,000 for conservation efforts

Outdoor enthusiasts of all ages took time to drop tickets in collection buckets in hopes of winning rifles, original artwork and other prizes featured at Saturday's event.

People from Mountain Home and communities across southern Idaho gathered on Saturday during a yearly event aimed at promoting big game habitat and restoration.

More than 350 people packed into the Mountain Home Elks Lodge that evening during the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Banquet.
