Woman struck, injured by vehicle

A Mountain Home woman sustained serious injuries after she was struck by a car in a crosswalk on North 2nd East Street on March 5.

The 66 year old woman, whose name was not released by police officials, was crossing the street at the intersection of East 5th North Street when she was struck by a 2009 Pontiac Vibe driven by Constance Roby.

According to eyewitnesses, Roby failed to yield the right of way when she turned onto North 2nd East.
