Parent-teacher conferences slated

Saturday, March 19, 2016

Most schools in the Mountain Home School District will hold parent-teacher conferences March 24.

District schools, with the exception of Bennett Mountain High School, will remain in session the mornings of March 24 and 25 although lunch isn't served these days.

Selected schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. both days.

"These conferences are extremely important and allow parents an opportunity to meet the teacher, exchange information about the student, and promote a better understanding of home and school," district officials said.

Mountain Home High School and Mountain Home Junior High School teachers will be available to meet with parents from 1 to 4 p.m. and again from 5 to 8 p.m.

Conference times for students attending Hacker Middle School or any of the elementary schools will be on an individual basis. A note is being sent home with the students indicating individual conference times, but they are held from 1 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m.

Bennett Mountain holds these conferences between class blocks. Teachers at the alternative high school held their last set of conferences of the school year in February.
