Patricia Van Laanen

Patricia Ann Van Laanen, age 76 of Eagle, Idaho, and formerly of Mountain Home, Idaho, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 8, 2016.

Patricia was born to Harry and Helen Hylton on June 19, 1939 in Emporia, Kan. The family moved to Idaho when she was young.

Patricia married Don Van Laanen on June 9, 1957, in Carson City, Nev. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and their cabin in Featherville, Idaho.

She is survived by four children, Kim (Don) Peebles of Eagle, Idaho; Ron (Sue) Van Laanen of Mountain Home, Idaho; Barbara (Vern) Cleveland of Boise, Idaho; Mike (Katrina) Van Laanen of Filer, Idaho; siblings Marylou Cooke, Jack Hylton, Dennis Hylton and Donnie Hylton; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchilden.

She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Bowman Funeral Parlor, 10254 West Carlton Bay Dr., Garden City, Idaho.
