County presented with $65,000 to start water study

With the county commissioners making the acquisition of water for residents one of their top priorities in recent years, those efforts took a significant step forward after the Idaho Resources Water Board gave Elmore County $65,000 to help pay for a water study.

The total cost for the Elmore County Water Supply Study is expected to be $109,000 with the county paying an additional $44,000 to fully fund the study.
