Teacher seeks downtown beautification effort

The project launched by Mountain Home High School art teacher Brenda Raub seeks to transform the alleyway between North Main and North 2nd East streets into a showcase of various art styles.

A walkway in the city's downtown area could get a significant makeover through an effort headed by local artists.

The idea involves turning a nearly 320-foot stretch of alleyway between North Main and North 2nd East streets into an "outdoor galley,"said Brenda Raub, who teaches art programs at Mountain Home High School.
