Board appoints new trustee, teacher honored

The Mountain Home school board appointed a new trustee while approving plans to waive most class fees in the new academic year and looked at the possibility of raising the breakfast and lunch prices at local schools during a meeting last month.

One of the first orders of business during the evening was the presentation from the Mountain Home Air Force Base School Advisory Board, which awarded its "Outstanding Educator of the Quarter" award.
