WECRD directors encouraged to compromise

Construction professionals, future city leaders and a few members of the public encouraged the Western Elmore County Recreation District to move forward with plans to build a financially sound, community-minded recreation facility in Mountain Home.

Although there were seven main topics on the agenda during the Dec. 16 special board meeting, only two decisions were made during the three and one-half hour meeting.

    Two places and no paper so I am just shooting in the dark here. From my experience the only people that need to learn to compromise are the two long time WECRD directors. Neither have shown the ability to compromise based on their past actions. Having meetings at 4PM when many community members have expressed the inability to make a meeting at that time show they do not have the desire to compromise.
