Throughout their marriage, the couple traveled around the world during military assignments to Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., Misawa Air Base, Japan, and Minot Air Force Base, N.D., before their final assignment to Mountain Home where Brian retired from the military in 2009.

The Orbans have three children, Nichole, Elizabeth and Kristen. Instead of a formal family gathering, the couple will mark their silver anniversary with an informal celebration.
