Mountain Home AFB conducts climate study

The base's involvement in the climate change study is part of a Defense Department initiative involving selected installations.

Mountain Home Air Force Base is helping take the lead in dealing with the consequences of climate change during an ongoing study aimed at protecting natural resources and the environment in southern Idaho.

Mountain Home was the only Air Force base selected to be a part of the Defense Department-wide study with other service branches selecting their own installations to be a part of the effort.
