UPDATE: Officials meet to discuss landfill fire

City and county leaders met in an emergency session Tuesday afternoon to discuss an ongoing fire at a private landfill managed by Idaho Waste Systems on Simco Road.

The landfill remains closed as a fire continues to burn at the site.

Additional details were not immediately available.
