Jeanette Young

Our mother, Jeanette Irene Young, passed away in her home on Nov. 10, 2015, at the age of 84. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at the First Congregational Church, located at 515 East 15th North St. in Mountain Home. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Jeanette was born to Walter and Madeline Murray on April 21, 1931, in New York State. Jeanette married Albert Young in 1950, in Watertown, N.Y. They went on to have five sons.

For years, she was very involved in Special Education in the Mountain Home School District. She loved singing and being a part of the First Congregational Church.

She was very dedicated to her family and friends.

Jeanette is survived by four sons, Mark; Brian "Kip;" Scott and his wife, Corol; and Troy and his wife, Pam; and her sister, Virginia, and her husband, Stan Farnsworth; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert Young; one son, Timothy; and her daughter in-law, LeeAnn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jeanette's memory can be sent to the Boise Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 1494, Boise, ID 83701.
