Mountain Home alumni win national franchise honor

After graduating from Mountain Home High School nearly 50 years ago, Ferrel and Mary Freer have built 15 restaurants and a hotel located in communities spanning the western United States. Their business success recently yielded national-level recognition.

More than 43 years after they opened their first business, Ferrel and Mary Freer show no signs of wanting to slow down. Over the years, the Mountain Home High School alumni have made it a point to run very successful businesses.

And it's not just one or two businesses. Right now, that number stands at 16.
