Monday, November 16, 2015 ~ Updated 8:24 AM

In the spirit of the holiday season, the Mountain Home News hosts a children's coloring contest and invites youngsters across the community to showcase their artistic abilities. Parents are asked to cut out one of the two coloring pages published in the Mountain Home News or the Mountain Home Patriot the weeks of Nov. 11 and 18 and have their children decorate one or the other using crayons, colored pencils or paint.

To enter the contest, parents are asked to either submit their child's art in person at the newspaper office at 195 South 3rd East St. or by scanning the image and sending it via e-mail to typesetting@mountainhomenews.com using the subject line "Children's Coloring Contest." Submissions are due by 5 p.m. Nov. 25. The newspaper staff will select one winner, who will have their artwork featured in the Dec. 2 edition of the Mountain Home News.

For more information, call the newspaper office at 587-3331.
