William "Bill" Eastman, 94, entered eternity on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, from a skilled nursing facility in Boise under the care of the Treasure Valley Hospice.

William was the only son and oldest child born April 24, 1921, in Trinidad, Colo., to the late Joseph and Hope Eastman.

Bill became a member of the Lord's Body in the late 50s when he put on his Lord in baptism. He was an avid student of the Bible, loved his country and his family.

Bill served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II as a Radio Operator and Gunner on a B-24 Liberator seeing action in missions over Germany.

William was predeceased by two of his sisters, Florence Chetham of California and Katherine Dull of Colorado, along with their husbands, Alfred and Leonard. He lost two nephews, Steve Hickel and Michael Dull, and a niece by marriage, Marilyn Dull.

He leaves two living sisters, Mrs. Francis (Laura) Love of Pueblo, Colo., and Mrs. Norman (Joanne) Hickel of Denver, Colo., with a host of nephews and nieces. In addition, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alma; two sons, Joseph and Allan (wife Maryann); and their children, Henry and Melody of Louisiana.

Direct cremation through the Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel has already taken place. A Memorial service will be held in Trinidad, Colo., at a later date.
