Letter to the Editor

Library friends say thanks

Wednesday, November 4, 2015

Dear editor,

The Friends of the Mountain Home Public Library would like to thank everyone who made our recent "Half-Price" Book Sale a success. We raised about $450 for the Library, selling 80 boxes of books.

We had nearly 150 customers, who took advantage of the special pricing to stock up on plenty of books. And we would like to give a very big "thank you" to the following students from McKenna High School: Jesse Riley, Emily Stafford, Marisa Hehir, Chris Hehir, Arlo Holladay, Madison Fesperman, Vanessa Sather, and Shannon Reagan. They moved about 4,000 pounds of books from our storage to the Library, and then spent two hours helping us sort the books onto the sale tables.

We couldn't have done the sale without their help! Thanks again, everyone.
