Appeal hearing continues on contested subdivision

The contested 65 acre plot of land for the proposed Blue Sage Subdivision could be built-out in three phases and, if a compromised is reached, would include 50 one and a quarter acres homesteads on a community well with separate septic systems.

Debate over a large-scale subdivision project northwest of Mountain Home continued last week as county commissioners and representatives of the project met seeking possible compromises.

The appeals hearing dealt with the Blue Sage subdivision -- a project headed by local businessman Jim Carrie and his business entity, Intermountain Development.

    I hope this is denied. There are enough empty houses and unfinished subdivisions already in my opinion.
